Architecture After the Anthropocene

Studio Description

Andrew Todd Marcus

In this studio students addressed humanities place in geological time through reading and discussing literary theory, ancient Japanese poetry, and contemporary ecological articles in order to support a series of visual and abstraction exercises culminating in a spatial proposal. Work from this studio served as the foundation for Architecture of Play, a studio series that will culminate in a built art installation in a Cambridge Public park.
